Perceptual ACEHD is a high efficiency real time video encode server capable of delivering excellent HD quality video at an impressively lower data rate. Using our vast experience and know how in perceptual modeling for audio, we have gone yet another step further and developed an ultra efficient, real time video encoding engine, Perceptual ACEHD.
ATC Labs, Perceptual ACEHD uses an optimized H.264 codec and ATC Labs propriety PVAM (Perceptual Video Analysis Platform) saving nearly 40-60% of bandwidth costs. It allows both an autonomous operation and an enhanced GUI operation offering real time monitoring capability. The system is based on a professional grade Dell server and is available as a rack mount or a tower socket design. The video encode server takes real time HD/SD input either on a SDI or HDMI interface and it can also process file inputs stored onto you disk servers. The product supports a multi format audio encoding such as AAC, MP2, MP3 and ATC Labs proprietary codec TeslaPro.
The video encode sever delivers superior HD video quality at bit rates ranging from 2-5Mbps for 720p and 5Mbps for 1080p. In fact it supports HD encoding even at the bit rate of 1 Mbps (see sample video demo)! The product supports excellent SD quality video at 300-512 kbps. The output may be saved as a file (with a variety of supported container formats) or sent out over IP network as unicast/multicast stream – multiple protocols like UDP, TCP, RTP are supported. In the case of file output the compressed video may be offered through any general medial player like VLC. But we can also provide a free media player, if necessary.
